White Elephant Sunset Functions originated with one thing in mind, the perfect location. If you are a beach lover or just love the idea of a beach-side function our venue is your venue. Expansive views from stunning Gnarabup Beach to the renowned Surfers Point, you cannot get much closer to the most famous location in Margaret River. Early afternoon into sunset evenings, here nature is provided at its finest.
Catering for up to 200 guests cocktail style our expansive deck and entertaining area provides uninterrupted views and superb summer sunsets.

Enjoy our speciality seafood paella, the perfect party pairing at a sea view venue. A combination of mediterranean taste and class our packages are designed with flexibility and simplicity in mind. Our menus can be combined with any of our special extras to create a package to suit your requirements.
We offer meals for the kids (up to 18 years) so they do not need to be included on the adults menu. Please see the options we have below for
just $25 per meal. We also do not charge children (under 18 years) to be on the adults drinks menu, we have soft drinks and juice include
for them all night long.

Our chefs have created menus using as much local produce as possible to really showcase to you and your guests everything that the Margaret River region has to offer. In Margaret River we are well known for our locally grown produce and our world famous wineries. Everything is carefully chosen to suit a wide variety of people. Not only is the food amazing, the way we serve it will get people talking. Good food, shared amongst good friends.
This menu is designed to offer plenty of variety and is a great way for everyone to socialise. We time the service around the evening’s proceedings to ensure everyone is catered for. The cocktail offering is perfect to keep the party moving.

Beverage options are primarily local to showcase to you and your guests the amazing variety and quality in our locally produced wine and beer. The beverage package is for a duration of 4 hours with the option to extend if you wish.

We love our special events at The White Elephant Cafe! The location is the perfect event back drop, watching the sunset over th ocean whilst enjoying their delicious canape and sipping the regions wines and beers is a unique way for us to celebrate with our corporate event partners and the surfing community.
We held our belated staff Christmas party at the White Elephant in February and everyone agreed that we had picked the best venue, with beautiful service, great food and a wonderful setting. The view from the deck can’t be beaten especially with the backdrop of a beautiful sunset.
My 40th was definitely a party myself and guestes won’t forget! The food was amazing accompanied by delicious wines and wow, that sunset! You guys delivered in every respect!
Venue hire includes exclusive use of the most unique location on the Southwest coast, use of all cafe furniture, mobile bar, heaters (if required), lighting (including fairy lights) and venue sound system with wireless microphone.
If you would like an alternative option to the café furniture provided, styling packages (lounges, decor, etc) is
additionally available from our partners at Dunsborough Event Co who can style the space to showcase your personality and suit
your function style. Packages start from $800.
Venue hire is priced at $1,000 and our minimum spend for a function is $3,500 which includes venue hire, food and beverages (not including styling).
Sunset functions are available from 5pm. Bar service is a standard of 4 hours (5pm-9pm) with functions concluding 30 minutes after at 9:30pm. Time extensions for bar service and venue hire can be organised if you wish.
